IBM's team collaboration strategy, IBM Lotus Quickr

Is Your Company Ready to Work a Quickr Way?

July 2009

Building on IBM's strategy of team collaboration, IBM Lotus Quickr goes from strength to strength by adding more features on every release. Based on its predecessor, Quickplace, and by adding some of the features of Domino.Doc, IBM have created an affordable, easy to use team collaboration system that will help you share content, collaborate and work faster with your teams - inside or outside your firewall.

IBM Lotus Quickr will integrate in to your existing Lotus or Microsoft infrastructure by the use of connectors, which allow seamless connectivity from your desktop in to content libraries or individual project collaborations places. In addition to the connectors you can access Quickr via a standard browser.

IBM Lotus QuickrE-mail's or just attachments can be dragged in to content libraries or project places. Links to content can be e-mailed rather than sending documents to multiple users which can help in mail box management and keep everything in one place.

If you are looking to take control of your content and provide better and faster ways to work with your teams, IBM Lotus Quickr is certainly worth a look.

What do you need to do?

For existing Quickplace users there is a simple upgrade and your existing places can continue to work as before. We have a migration package for Domino.Doc users and can fully customise the look and feel to match your existing Intranet or website.
